FIRE ALARM

We test our fire alarm every Wednesday at approximately 9.15 a.m. The fire signal is a loud ringing and should be silenced after a couple of rings. If it continues to sound you should evacuate the building as quickly as possible by the nearest exit and wait at the assembly point until directed by the responsible officer. The assembly point is located to the left of the main entrance to the surgery and is marked by a green notice. Our staff will assist you if required.

ACCESS FOR THE DISABLED

Should you be unable to manage the stairs in the surgery, please let the receptionist know and she will arrange for you to be seen in one of our ground floor surgeries, which are fully accessible for the disabled.

ASSESSMENT

The surgery occasionally undergoes assessments conducted by outside professional agencies, which help us to maintain standards of clinical expertise. Most information seen by the assessors is not identifiable; they do however ask to view a small number of records. As stated in the paragraph above, the assessors are all health professionals and again are bound by the same rules of confidentiality as your doctor and their staff.
